Pro-Marriage Milk?

During the primary race for governor, Republican candidate Jim Oberweis and his dairy business were attacked by homosexual activists who called for a boycott of Oberweis Dairy.

Jim Oberweis took a strong stand on the issue of homosexual so-called "marriage," supporting the Protect Marriage Illinois petition drive, which calls for an amendment to the state constitution defining marriage as the union of one man and one woman. Oberweis not only supported the petition drive in word, but in deed, by turning in hundreds of signatures and making a generous contribution to the effort. Oberweis also went on record as wanting to repeal the state's "Gay Rights" Human Rights Act.

For being an outspoken advocate of these pro-family issues, homosexual activists are now targeting Oberweis products (milk, ice cream, cakes, etc.) for a boycott.

The Oak Park Area Lesbian & Gay Association (OPALGA) and the radical Gay Liberation Network (GLN), which has told its following that "only a fool would buy products tainted with such bigotry," are pressuring individuals and businesses to boycott Oberweis Dairy products. The GLN recently sent a letter to the division manager of the local Jewel food stores to demand the chain stop selling Oberweis items.

Rick Garcia of Equality Illinois, is also on record encouraging a boycott of Oberweis Dairy in the "gay" publication, Advocate.

According to the Windy City Times, homosexual activists plan "to distribute flyers to patrons of Jewel as well as other stores that carry Oberweis items."

In response to this shakedown, pro-family, pro-marriage citizens may want to go out of their way to shop at Oberweis stores, start new home deliveries, and/or purchase Oberweis products at grocery stores, specifically at Jewel. You may even want to purchase a Oberweis Moola card (a.k.a. A Loyalty Card). There is no reason why Oberweis' business should suffer for standing for marriage.

My family and I will buy Oberweis goods whenever we can. As one pro-family advocate and Oberweis fan said, "Oh well, now I guess I have to go out and buy a couple gallons of Oberweis Black Cherry ice cream for the good of the pro-marriage movement."

We must continue, now more than ever, to champion immutable moral principals and take a strong stand for traditional values. IFI will continue to expose the lies of the left, and speak out in favor of time-tested values and dependable conservative ideals.

Bible believing Christians and true Reagan conservatives cannot afford to run the risk of complacency while anti-God, anti-American, and anti-freedom forces work overtime toward the radical socialist agenda.
